Year 1 visit Aldenham Country Park
Year 1 had so much fun on our trip to Aldenham Country Park, when we visited the local farm as well as the homes of Winnie the Pooh and friends. It was a fun-filled day for all!
Year 1 had so much fun on our trip to Aldenham Country Park, when we visited the local farm as well as the homes of Winnie the Pooh and friends. It was a fun-filled day for all!
The day started with an assembly in the hall to learn all about the Queen's Platinum Jubilee. We all dressed in red, white or blue to celebrate the occasion and some of the children and adults even wore crowns which looked beautiful.
The hall and dining tables were emblazoned with union jacks as lunch time staff served school lunches. The playground was adorned with bunting made by children from every class.
During the afternoon, we had a whole school picnic where children brought in de licious food and ate it on the top playground in a picnic. Year 3 classes even made royal cupcakes which looked scrumptious!
What a spectacular day!
