Y5 Trip to Regents Park Mosque

Year 5 enjoyed a fascinating and educational visit to the London Central Mosque at Regent’s Park as part of their learning about the history and beliefs of Islam. During the trip, pupils explored significant places in the Islamic world, including the Kaaba in Mecca and the cities of Mecca and Medina, and learned about the main principles of the faith. The children were given a tour of the mosque, where they visited the impressive main prayer hall and the library, which houses thousands of religious texts. The visit provided a valuable opportunity for pupils to deepen their understanding through first-hand experience in a place of worship.
