5A’s First Shakespeare Drama Session

This week, 5A took their very first steps into the world of William Shakespeare as they began rehearsals for their upcoming production of The Winter's Tale. With their performance set for June at the Ryan Theatre, excitement is already building!

The session was led by a director from the Shakespeare Company and it was filled with energy, laughter and creativity as pupils explored the story, characters and themes of the play. From dramatic readings to lively group activities, everyone threw themselves into the experience and began to bring Shakespeare’s words to life.

It was wonderful to see such enthusiasm and teamwork, with pupils supporting one another as they tackled new language and dramatic techniques.
