Mission to Mars LEGO Workshop

Mrs Aliraza recently took the Digital Leaders and a small group of pupils to the Natural History Museum to take part in the Mission to Mars LEGO workshop. During the session, pupils worked in small teams to design and build a LEGO Martian rover. They then coded, tested and evaluated their designs before seeing how well their rovers performed on a realistic Martian surface.

The children used a wide range of skills, including creativity and building, coding, teamwork, communication, problem solving and working to a time limit. Everyone showed fantastic enthusiasm and collaboration throughout the day and had an amazing time learning in such an exciting, hands-on way.
