YR Superheroes

The children have had a very enjoyable month. We have been learning about Superheroes and have been reading books all about Supertato and his adventures to defeat the Evil Pea! The children designed their own super hero masks, bracelets and hats. They wrote their own Supertato comic strip and created their own superhero characters.  In Maths, the children have all been superheroes by solving Maths word problems and finding ways to add to 20. 

It has been such a pleasure to watch the children develop their skills, knowledge, resilience and independence this year. The Reception team would like to wish all of the children, parents and carers a happy holiday and we hope you all have a well-earned rest!
