Year 3 Explore Plant Reproduction!

The children have been learning all about plants in Science .Through hands-on investigation, we observed what would plants need to grow. We set up a scientific enquiry about air: We investigated how air affects plant growth? We covered Plant A with a plastic bag. We watered it and gave it sunshine. It didn’t get any air. We observed the plants over time. We noticed that the leaves of Plant A were slowly getting dark and droopy. We also noticed there were droplets of water inside the bag.
To understand how plants grow, the children inspected parts of plants and their functions. We looked at the life-cycle of plants and understood how seeds are dispersed. They identified and labelled the key parts of a plant.
