Borough Sports 2025
Roxeth’s Y5 and Y6 Athletics team competed in the Borough Sports competition on Friday 20th June against children from 20 other Harrow schools. The children did very well on a hot and draining day. We had male and female competitors in 6 different track and field events: 400m running, 60m sprint, Javelin, Shot Put, Standing Long Jump and Standing Triple Jump. On top of this, there were also 3 relay running events: Boys, Girls and Mixed. A particular mention should go to Ethan, who picked up a silver medal for his triple jump and the gold medal for the 60m sprint, marking him as the fastest boy in the borough at primary school age! Zaira also capped off a fantastic shot put event with the bronze medal.
