Y6 SATs & Venture Week

On the week beginning 19th May, Year 6 enjoyed a fun week full of activities and excitement following SATs Week!  Some children went on a trip to France whilst others stayed in London for Venture Week.  

FRANCE:  The children travelled to France by ferry from Portsmouth.  They stayed at a place called Chateau Beaumont and took part in many activities throughout the week.  This included visits to the animal sanctuary, Mont St Michel and Saint Malo market.  The children also had themed evenings such as French Night, Quiz Night & Disco.  The children had plenty of fun spending their euros and experiencing the French culture!

VENTURE WEEK:  The children who stayed behind in London had the opportunity to take part in various activities throughout the week such as Minigolf, Cinema, Madame Tussauds and an outdoor activity centre.  The children enjoyed wearing their own clothes and spending time with their friends throughout the week!

Overall, it was a fantastic week and a great reward for completing SATs!
