Roxeth's School Council has been running for fifteen years and offers an excellent opportunity for pupils to contribute their opinions on matters that affect the school. Two pupils are elected at the beginning of each academic year from all classes from Year 1 to Year 6. The principal job of a school council + pupil is to report the thoughts and observations of the pupils in their class on the matters to be discussed on the Agenda. They then feedback to their classmates the minutes of the meeting. Pupils are directly involved in preparing the Agenda and the Minutes. Pupils who act as SC+, consistently feel that they have made a positive contribution to the life of their school and all pupils see the council as a valuable tool to promoting their voice.
