  • Go through Lesson 1 powerpoint and answer all the questions on it about equivalent fractions.

  • Play Fraction Wall on Purple Mash if you would like a further challenge.

Lesson 2

  • Complete 2 levels from Lesson 2 sheet about equivalent fractions.

  • Go through Lesson 1 powerpoint to recap if you need to.

  • Play Fractino’s pizza on Purple Mash as a further challenge.

Lesson 3

  • Recap adding and subtracting fractions by looking at Lesson 3 poster.

  • Complete 2 or 3 star Lesson 3 worksheet on adding and subtracting fractions. Remember to keep the denominator the same.

  • Challenge: Can you simplify any of the fractions?

  • Complete Lesson 5 worksheet – locating decimals on a number line.

  • You have done set A or B of this before so have a go at Set C if you can. Remember to look at what one line on the number line represents and go from there.

ENGLISH Week 7

Lesson 1

  • Use an atlas or https://geology.com/world/world-map.shtml  to locate continents and oceans around the world. Try to locate some rivers if you can too.

  • Find St Lucia on the world map. This island will be the focus of your learning this week. You will be creating a non-chronological report at the end of the week.

  • Go through Lesson 1 powerpoint after you have located St Lucia on the map. Begin making notes about St Lucia and keep them safe so that you can add to them.

  • Use these websites and Lesson 3 powerpoint to research 2-4 other topics about St Lucia. There are many topics to choose from. E.g people, economy, geography, the flag, people, plants and animals.

  • Your task is to create a non-chronological report about St Lucia.You can present it as a 2 page spread like we have done in class, a powerpoint, a leaflet on Purple Mash or even present it as a TV show to your family! It’s entirely your choice.

  • Write a character description of the Dream Giver describing his appearance, personality, movements and a detailed description of his bag of dreams.

Lesson 3

  • It’s your turn to plan your story of the Dream Giver. Set the scene, use your character description to describe the Dream Giver and how he enters the bedroom. What is he carrying the dream eggs in?

  • Think about an object or picture you would like the Dream Giver to crack an egg open on for a good dream. What object or picture will the egg break on for a bad dream?

  • Use the headings on Lesson 3 planning sheet to help you plan your story.

Lesson 4

  • Write your story using the planning sheet. Read your story to an adult.

  • Use Lesson 4 Writing Features to help you to remember which features to include in your story.

  • Read through your story and edit to ensure you included all features from the level you selected.

Lesson 5

WEEK 7 & 9 Topic

  • Make a note of ways to be more sustainable and how to reduce plastic waste. Remember to use bullet points.
