Physical Development

Activity 1: Letter Formation

  • Use the Letter Formation pdf provided to practise letter formation for letters:  j,v,w

  • Follow the directions shown on the letter formation worksheet.

  • Please only complete formation for the letters set for this week.

 

Communication and Language & Reading

Activity 1: Oxford Owl – Read Oxford Reading Tree books for free!

  • Continue to read books from the ebook library.

  • Discuss what happened in the story, what might happen next, how did the characters feel, how could the ending be different?

  • Use the guides at the beginning and end of each book to support your child’s reading.

 

English

Activity 1: Polar Bear, Polar Bear What Do You Hear?

  • Encourage your child to predict which animal might come next

  • Draw a picture of your favourite animal.

  • Write sentences or words to describe your favourite animal. E.g. I can hear the peacock rustling it’s feathers. You can use the Polar Bear Word Mat to help you learn new words.
